I went through 2 of these and they are very poorly constructed. I put up the first one and thankfully hadn't put my jewelry in it yet. The light on the outside that is supposed to surround the mirror wouldn't turn on and I couldn't get the Bluetooth to work. In the morning, the screen had slipped down (see my 7th picture). I requested a replacement. It arrived as pictured in the 5th picture, also sliding and with the mirror scratched. I decided to rip up the velvet backing to see what the problem was. You can see in the first 3 pictures that the screen was being held on by 2 strips of double sided tape. I'm serious. The wires were held by hot glue. I fixed it myself, though there's not much I could do to repair the way the velvet ripped. While handling the screen, the buttons could be pushed by touching the back of the unit. 4th picture is of the battery case at the top which lights the interior when the door is opened. It takes 3 AAA. The mirror plugs in at the bottom left for the outside light and the screen. It plays well through the speakers. Picture 8 puzzled me for a long time. I couldn't figure out what it was but both were like this. I finally figured out it was the temperature sensor but I wish they'd concealed it better. It had the potential to be a nice piece but it was put together so lazily, I wouldn't spend the money on it.The battery setup is nice but if you want to turn on the outer light, you must have it plugged in. This is a major inconvenience considering it has brackets to mount it to a door. How are you supposed to mount it to the door if you now have a very short cord plugged into an extension cord running from it?Bought for my granddaughter for Christmas she loves it her room is small so floor space is at a premium and she loves the lights insideThe item was damaged when it came but over all a very pretty and spacious for all your jewelry.Beautiful!! I completely fell in love with it, i don’t have too much jewelry but it fits all that i have right now as i grow my collection. It was kind of hard mount it on my wall but once it was up it’s been sturdy as it could be!SO FRUSTATED TO RECEIVE MY JEWELRY CABINET MIRROR BROKEN , WAS VERY ANXIOUS ON GETTING MY JEWELRY CABINET , IT IS VERY BEAUTIFUL , LOVE IT, BUT THE MIRROR IF BROKEN.my daughter just LOVES it. made me very happy.thank youThere are just a couple of things that keep this from being the end all jewelry cabinet. First there is no magnet on the door and cabinet to just hold the door closed. I have to use the key and lock every time. I live in a hundred year old home. Even though we hung the cabinet level my house isn't level. So, with no magnet to hold the door closed it swings open. I have to turn the lock every time. It is a bit annoying but I can live with it. Second, the necklace hooks at the bottom on the door and the cubbies in the cabinet. This set up does not allow me to put any chunky statement necklaces on the hooks and still close the door. In the picture with jewelry and necklaces on the hooks I could not close the door and I needed to remove them all. I can hang simple chains or single strand necklaces but that is it. And they have to be very short. No longer than 18 inches. Third, the bracelet bar in the interior of the cabinet, it is difficult to remove and put back in. If you want to store cuff style bracelets that would work as long as they are not too thick or chunky. But your closed bracelets would be very hard to thread on this bar. Fourth, nothing is adjustable. All the pegs and shelves are in fixed positions. You cannot rearrange to customize anything to your liking. Fifth, the Bluetooth name was incorrect. It was not so wrong that we could not figure out what it was though.I know it sounds like a laundry list of why not to get this but really this cabinet is so cool! The led lights are so bright. For being huge it doesn't take up a ton of space. I have it wall mounted behind the bedroom door and I thought I would have to take off my over the door shoe organizer. I thought the cabinet would be too thick and my shoes would hit it. Nope everything fits. There is a temp gauge to tell you the temp of your room. It takes a min to sense everything after you power it on but it is accurate. You press the power button to turn on. You press the power button again a bit longer of a press to turn on the led lights. Do the reverse to power it down. You cannot dim the info panel. It is off or on. The power cord is at the bottom of the cabinet. It is a two prong plug, not a grounded three prong plug. There is a battery case on the top that you can switch on just the interior lights if you do not want to turn the whole cabinet on. This holds a ton of jewelry. And I can see it all. I can see how I look under lights. I can listen to music or weather or whatever while getting ready. I can see the time to know how much time I have to find the perfect jewelry combo. This is one of the coolest things that I have gotten in a long time. Other than the few minor things listed above it amazing!
